½ c. sugar
½ c. brown sugar, packed
½ c. creamy peanut butter
¼ c. softened margarine or Butter
¼ c. shortening
1 egg
1 ½ c. flour
¾ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. baking powder
Sugar
3 dozen Hershey’s Kisses (or 48 for 4 dozen)
Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix sugars, peanut butter, margarine, shortening, and egg thoroughly. Stir in dry ingredients.
2. Roll into 1-inch balls, roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes at 370º
3. Immediately press kisses in center of hot cookies. Cool.
