2 c. sugar
1 c. White Karo syrup
½ c. water
2 c. Raw Spanish peanuts
1 ½ tsp. butter
1 ½ tsp. vanilla
1 ½ tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar, syrup, and water to softball stage (230º) add peanuts. Cook stirring constantly to 300º. Turn off heat, stir in butter, vanilla, and salt. Let cool a minute then add baking soda. Stir and pour onto a large greased cookie sheet. When cool, tap pan to break.
