19 oz. blueberry pie filling (or cherry)
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cold butter or margarine
1/2 cup cold milk

Directions:

Mix filling, lemon juice and almond flavoring together. Spoon into 8 inch casserole. Place in hot oven while preparing topping.
Measure flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add milk all at once. Mix to moisten. Drop by spoonfuls over hot mixture. Bake uncovered in 425ºF oven for 20-25 minutes until risen and browned.
