2 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1 c. confectionary sugar
2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
1 c. finely chopped pecans
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. rum

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all Ingredients together until well blended.
Shape mixture into I" balls, place on wax paper and let stand for 1 hr.
Roll balls in confectioary sugar and press a pecan half into each cookie/ball. Store rum balls in a tightly covered container 3 days before serving.

Miss Lib always served these at her Christmas Morning Open House. This celebration was a tradition ever since I could be remembered. No invitations were sent out, people just came. Mr. Sprigg kept the egg nog bowl filled. ilb
