1 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 T. mil
2 c. flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 t. soda
1 c. dates, chopped
1/2 c. nut meats
1 t. vanilla
3 c. crushed Wheaties

Combine ingredients in the order given. Roll into small ball, flatten a little, roll in wheaties crumbs until well covered

Bake at 400º for 10 to 12 minutes
