COOKIES
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sour cream
2 3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder

ICING
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup icing sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine wet ingredients and mix: margarine/butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, sour cream.

Combine dry ingredients and mix: flour, baking soda and baking powder.

Mix the dry and the wet ingredients together and refrigerate overnight.

Next day place cookies on a baking sheet and bake at 350ºF until cookies start to brown on bottom edges - about ten minutes.

Heat icing ingredients in a small pot and place on the cookies after they have cooled for a couple of minutes.
