1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups chocolate chips
(1 cup nuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour and baking soda. Stir in.
Mix chocolate chips (and nuts).
Drop from small spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375ºF for 10-12 minutes.
