2/3 cup melted butter
2 cups brown sugar, not packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vinegar
1 heaping tsp. baking soda

Icing:
4 cups icing sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. soft butter
boiling water
Mix and then add 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar then beat in eggs and salt. Measure 1/2 cup cocoa in measuring cup and fill to 1 cup level with boiling water. Stir and add more water to reach 1 cup level again. Add this to 1st mixture.

Mix 1/2 cup milk and 1/4 cup vinegar and add to mixture.
Sift in 2 cups flour and 1 tsp. heaped baking soda.

Bake at 300ºF for 25-35 minutes.
