1 stick of butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 8-oz can whole cranberry sauce
2 cups flour
1/2 pint or 1 cup of sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond extract
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Grease 8 or 9 inch tube pan

Mix all ingredients (EXCEPT cranberry sauce) well.

Layer in tube pan; one layer of batter and one layer of cranberry sauce (DO NOT LET CRANBERRY SAUCE TOUCH SIDE OF PAN) and slightly swirl.

Bake at 350º for 55 minutes
Cool 10 minutes
loosen sides, turn out then top side to to cool on rack
