Directions:
Put first 4 ingredients together in a saucepan and heat but do not let boil.
Put the yeast and lukewarm water into a cup and stir for yeast to dissolve.
Beat the eggs, add scalded milk with sugar, salt and Crisco.
add 1 cup mashed potatoes
Add yeast dissolved in lukewarm water
Add the flour

If using an electric mixer you can only add half the flour and then you will have to finish with a spoon, as it will be too thick to beat with mixer.
Grease slightly with melted margarine on top to keep a crust from forming,Cover and put in refrigerator overnight.
Next day:
Put on board and knead dough slightly. Roll out and cut to desired thickness. Brush tops with melted margarine. and fold back like Parkerhouse rolls.
Bake until done.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe is from my mother's Nashville friend Alma Humphreys from back in the 1970s. Mrs. Humphreys lived on Franklin Road in a beautiful white house, right before you get to the Berry Hill area. That house is now the home of a church. My children loved to visit Miss Alma as she had an elevator in her house.
