4 large Granny Smith apples
2 cans crescent rolls
2 sticks butter (not margarine)
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can (12-ounce) Mountain Dew (no Diet)

Vanilla Ice Cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Peel apples and quarter. Roll 1 quartered apple into each crescent roll and place into an oblong glass dish.

Melt butter, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla until hot (do not boil). Pour over crescent rolls and apples. Let stand for a couple of minutes. Then pour 12-ounce can of Mt. Dew over all.

Bake for 35 to 45 minutes. Serve with scoop of vanilla ice cream.
