1/2 Lb. elbow macaroni or small shells
6T margarine
1 t salt
1/2 t pepper
4 cups milk
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 T margarine
paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni according to pkg. directions in salted water and drain. While macaroni is boiling , melt margarine in pan and mix flour, salt, & pepper together to add to margarine. . Mix thoroughly until bubbly and smooth. Take off heat and slowly add milk; return to burner and cook until mixture thickens. Stir constantly.
When mixture thickens, add cheese and cook several more minutes. Take off heat. Pour cheese sauce over bottom of casserole dish; add drained macaroni and rest of cheese sauce. Mix well together. Sprinkle bread crumbs & Parmesan cheese over top of mixture. Cut remaining margarine into tiny pieces and sprinkle over top. Shake small amount of paprika over this. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
