1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup Crisco shortening
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups oats
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

Mix wet ingredients, then add dry. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes.

This makes a lot of cookies, but still they don't last long in this house. This recipe is on the "wall of fame" (the inside of a kitchen cabinet door)..made so very often.
