1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
pinch of salt
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. cocoa powder
2/3 c. flour
1/3 c. milk or cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

Mocha icing -
3 tbsp. cocoa power
2 tbsp. butter, softened
3 tbsp. coffee (liquid)
2 tsp. vanilla
icing sugar (2c. approx.)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Stir in salt, eggs, cocoa, flour, milk, vanilla and walnuts. Pour into a greased 8" square pan and bake for 20 25 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean when inserted in the center. Cool on a wire rack.

To make icing: Beat cocoa, butter, coffee, vanilla and enough icing sugar to reach desired consistency. Spread on cooled brownies.
