4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. nutmeg

1.c cold butter or shortening (or 1/2 of each)
1 c. sugar

2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. dark raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Cut in the butter like pie crust. Stir in the sugar.Make a well.

Whisk eggs in a medium bowl. Add sour cream and raisins, stirring till smooth. Pour into well. Stir to combine. Divide into 4 disks. Roll each disk on lightly floured board to about 8 inch circle. Sprinkle with sugar and cut out with 2 inch cookie cutter. Reroll the scraps.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.( Light brown on edges.)
