1 box of uncooked Linguini
1/4 lb of Bacon
2 tbs Olive Oil
3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
2 tbs Fresh Oregano, Chopped
2 tbs Fresh Basil(chopped)
3 Roma(plum) Tomatoes, seeded & chopped
1/2 cup Chopped Green Onions
1 cup Half & half
1/2 cup Freshly grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
1 lb large Shrimp, cooked, peeled & deveined

šPlace Bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add Pasta and cook for 8 to 10 mins or until al dente; drain.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute garlic, basil and oregano in olive oil over medium heat for 1 minute. Add half of tomato and green onions and saute for 3 minutes. Save other half for topping.
Add bacon, half & half, Parmesan Cheese and Monterey Jack and cook until cheese
is just melted. Add Shrimp and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.

Serve sauce over pasta and sprinkle with additional chopped tomato, chopped green onion and bacon. Add pine nuts if desired

This is a nice dish to prepare for a date on Valentine's day. Maybe a salad with a vinaigrette. Light some candles and serve some Iced Cold Moscato. You may get a box of Chocolates. I never served this on Valentine's Day to anyone so I wouldn't know but it's worth a try, right? Enjoy
