1 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. light vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
4 tbsp. butter or margarine
3 tbsp. light molasses
5 c. cooked, drained Navy beans
3 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. sweet pickle juice
3 tbsp. bacon drippings
6 strips bacon, fried crispy and crumbled
4 tbsp. Grapenuts cereal

In a saucepan, over medium heat, combine brown sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and add butter and molasses, stirring just to blend. Place beans in a 2-1/2 qt. baking dish. Pour cooked mixture over them and stir to blend. Combine remaining ingredients and stir into bean mixture. Cover and bake just to heat thoroughly in a 350º oven about 20- 25 minutes.
