1/2 cup shortening/Crisco
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup oats

Mix together wet ingredients, then mix in dry. Drop by rounded teaspoonsfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or so at 350º
