2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
2 t. vanilla
12 T. softened butter
1 egg

Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Cream butter and sugar; add egg and beat well. Add vanilla, blend well. Shape into a ball and chill 2 hours or more. Roll on a lightly floured board to 1/8" thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased sheet 1" apart. Bake 325º for approx. 8-10 min.
