2 eggs
1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups scalded milk
1 9" unbaked pie shell
Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla together. Blend scalded milk into egg mixture. Pour into pie shell and sprinkle top with nutmeg. Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes.
Top of pie will brown and should be slightly shaky.

To scald milk bring it to the boiling point but don't let it boil.
