Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix (with pudding in the mix)
1 can crushed pineapple, drained

Boiled White Frosting:
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 egg whites
5 Tbsp. white Karo
5 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix cake according to directions and bake in 2 round, greased and floured, cake pans. Bake as directed. Cool and layer with drained pineapple and white frosting. Polk holes in layers with fork so any juice from pineapple will soak into cake. Then frost entire cake. Refrigerate any leftover cake the day after it is made and cut.
Frosting:
In double boiler, Mix ingredients and heat until dissolved. Beat with electric mixer while cooking until peaks stand. This old fashioned frosting will be creamy and shiny...and real sticky. Pour from boiler onto cake with pineapple. Place second layer on top, spread pineapple and pour more frosting on top of cake. Then spread around sides. So good and moist!
