½ cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 1/4 cup light corn syrup
3 tbsp butter
¼ salt
3 eggs
1 ½ tsp vanilla
1 cup whole walnut pieces
1 unbaked 9” pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Mix brown sugar and flour in sauce pan. Add corn syrup, butter & salt. Warm over low heat just until butter is melted. Beat eggs with vanilla. Stir in sugar mixture. Pour into pie shell; sprinkle with walnuts. Bake on lower rack of oven at 375 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes until filling is set in center. Cool before cutting. Makes 1- 9 inch pie.
