1 medium head of cabbage - shredded
1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
1 C raw rice
1 Large can of tomato sauce
Season salt on top of layered meat

Directions:

350º for 1.5 hours

In 9x13 pan, put 1/2 can of the tomato sauce, add 1/3 shredded cabbage on top of sauce, sprinkle 1/2 of the raw meat on top, add 1/2 of the rice. Repeat above with cabbage on top. Add 1 C of water on top.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1.5 hours at 350º

I've had this recipe since I worked for the Duchossois' - a lovely woman, Lou Ambrose had put together a recipe box with some of her favorites as a gift to me. I love this recipe because I don't think I could roll the cabbage for cabbage rolls! Enjoy!
