"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together three times. Make a well in flour mixture and add, without stirring, corn oil, unbeaten egg yolks, coffee and vanilla. Stir the liquids to intermingle, then stir into flour mixture. Beat until batter is smooth; stir in shaved chocolate. Measure the egg whites into a large bowl and sprinkle with cream of tartar. Beat until very, very stiff (much stiffer than meringue), add flour mixture about a quarter at a time, folding after each addition until batter and egg whites are combined. Bake in preheated 325 oven 1 1/3 to 1 1/2 hours. Immediately cake is baked, invert pan and allow cake to hang suspended until cold. Remove carefully from pan. Cover with Coffee 7 Minute frosting.
