1 stick margarine, melted
1 1/2 c. oats (quick or regular are both OK)
3/4 c. sugar
1 large egg, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. flour
1 tsp.baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1-21/2 oz. chopped walnuts

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F. Line baking sheet with foil. Put oats into a bowl and pour melted margarine over them. Toss with fork. Stir in sugar. Add egg, vanilla, flour, baking powder, salt. Stir in nuts. Drop by large teaspoonful onto baking sheet - about 2 inches apart. Bake 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool on sheet. Gently peel cookies off and arrange in layers in a can or box. Enjoy!
