1 ½ pound of tomatillo or tomato fresadilla (the green ones)
2 cloves of garlic
½ diced onion
3-6 Jalapenos or Serrano peppers
½ bunch of cilantro chopped in small pieces
salt and pepper and cumin to taste

Directions:
Directions:
• Cook the tomatillos and jalapenos in enough water to cover them for 15 to 20 minutes
• Puree them in a food processor or blender with some of the cooking water
• Add the chopped onion and cilantro
• Season with salt and pepper and add a pinch of cumin (optional)
• Eat it with chips and save some for pork roast or chicharrones in green sauce
Tip: For a less spicy sauce, take the seeds and veins out of the peppers
