2 cups oats
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flax seed
1/4 cup wheat bran
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup quinoa flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup dried fruit (your choice)
1/3 cup chocolate chips (opt)
Pinch of salt
2 egg whites
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup apple sauce
2 tsp vanilla
Banana (opt)

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to 350º

In a large bowl mix together: Oats, Flours, Sugar, Cinnamon, Flax, Wheat germ, raisins, dried fruit, almonds, chocolate chips(opt) and salt.
Make a well in the center.

Pour in: honey, eggs, oil, applesauce, vanilla and banana(opt)

Mix well! Everything goes into a greased 9X13 baking pan

Bake time: 25 minutes

Cut bars while still a bit warm

Can store in refrigerator for up to two weeks

This is a recipe that I made up myself. These bars are perfect for a quick breakfast running out the door. Can be carried in a bag for later when the tummy starts to growl. The added quinoa flour and flax add extra nutritional value if you happen to add in those chocolate chips! I love it with the banana in it but some people do not like banana so your choice.
