Ingredients:
Ingredients:
6 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 T. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
2 pt. half and half
2 cans evaporated milk
1 gallon whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
Whip eggs with mixer until frothy. Mix in sugar, flour and vanilla until well blended. Add half and half and evaporated milk to mixture. Pour mixture into ice cream maker can and add whole milk until it reaches the fill line on the container. Cover can with lid and place inside bucket to make ice cream. Pour 4 cups of water and 1/2 c. rock salt in bottom of ice cream maker bucket. Place motor onto ice cream maker and start motor. Add about 3 inches of ice to bottom of bucket, then another 1/2 c. rock salt and repeat until last batch of ice reaches lid of ice cream can. Do not add anymore rock salt at this point. Cover ice cream can with more ice and continue to add ice as it lowers in the bucket to keep the ice covering the lid of the can while freezing the ice cream. When motor slows to a stop unplug it and remove motor and ice from the top of the ice cream can so that it can be removed from the bucket and served. For thicker ice cream place ice cream can into a deep freeze for an hour before serving.
