9 c. flour
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. scalded milk
4 beaten eggs
2/3 c. sugar
2 T. salt
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 stick oleo

FROSTING:
powdered sugar
1/2 stick of butter
small amount of cold coffee
1 tsp. maple flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a mixing bowl. Then make a well in the dry mixture. Pour in the water, scalded milk and add the beaten eggs. DO NOT STIR! Put the lid on bowl and wait for seal to pop off. Melt the butter and add around the edge of the flour mixture. Stir it all together and knead it. Put lid back on and leave until lid pops off. Roll dough out onto a floured surface. Cut into size of long johns you want and let rise. Heat deep fat fryer. When hot put 3-4 long johns into the hot grease and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove them from grease and place on paper towel.

FROSTING:
Mix small bag of powdered sugar, butter, coffee and maple flavoring together to desired consistency. Frost hot long johns.
