Cream together: 1 c shortening
2 c sugar
2 eggs
Blend in: 1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
½ c milk
Add: 3 c flour

Mix well. Spread in greased jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 20 minutes at 350º
