1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1/4 c. Italian bread crumbs
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Gravy:
1 T. vegetable oil
2 T. flour
1 c. beef broth
1 T. cooking sherry, optional
1/4 tsp. seasoned salt or to taste

Yield: 8 servings
Mix ground beef, egg and seasonings in a large bowl. Form into 8 patties. Brown patties in hot oil in a large skillet. Remove patties; keep warm. For gravy, sprinkle flour over drippings in skillet. Gradually add broth and sherry, stirring constantly to thicken. Season with remaining seasoned salt; simmer about 5 minutes. Turn to low heat; return patties and simmer 15 more minutes. (I double the gravy and serve with mashed potatoes or rice.)
