2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 tsp soda

4 tbls. cocoa
1 cup water

2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla


Icing - 1 stick oleo - melted, 4 tlbs cocoa, 4 tlbs. buttermilk, 1 box powered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and nuts (optional).

Preheat over to 350º.

Melt 2 sticks butter, 4 tbls. cocoa and 1 cup water. Let come to boil then add dry ingredients. Mix well. Add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup buttermilk and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat well and pour into large cookie sheet (13 x 5 or 11 x 7).

As soon as cake is in the oven make Icing - in a medium saucepan, add all icing ingredients and bring to boil, remove and add 1 box of powdered sugar and 1 tsp vanilla and nuts (optional). Mix well and frost cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
