1 3/4 c. oats
1 c. sifted flour
1 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 c. butter
1 12 oz jar apricot jam

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 In mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and almond flavoring.
Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture is texture of coarse cornmeal.
Press slightly more than halt the mixture into greased 8 or 9 inch square baking pan.
Cover mixture with jam and then remaining mixture.
Bake for 25-30 min, or until lightly browned.
Cool on rack.
