1 cup Shortening
1 ˝ cups Sugar
3 Eggs, Beaten until Light
1 tsp soda, dissolved in the Sweet Milk
3 Tbsp Sweet Milk
˝ tsp Salt
4 cups Flour
1 tsp Vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream the shortening and sugar together.

Add eggs and beat thoroughly.

Add the flour alternately with the milk and soda mixture.

Add the vanilla.

Let stand in refrigerator until chilled.

Roll out very thin and cut with a cookie cutter.

Place on Cookie sheet and Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350-375 degrees.
