1 bag caramels (approx 50)
2/3 c. evaporated milk, reserved
1 German Chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts, reserved
1 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels and 1/3 c. evaportated milk in double boiler (or microwave 1 1/2 minutes stirring until melted). Combine dry cake mix, butter, 1/3 c. evaporated milk, vanilla, and 1 c. nuts. Mix well. Spread 1/2 the batter in well greased 9x13 pan. Reserve the remaining batter for the top. Bake 8 minutes at 350.
Take from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the crust. Spread the warm caramel over the chips, and drop the remaining batter over the caramel using a teaspoon. Sprinkle 1/2 c. nuts over the top. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool. Refrigerate 1 hour then cut into bars. Enjoy!!
