3 cups flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 cup butter
3/4 cups sugar
1 egg
2 T cream or milk
1 1/2 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together in bowl. In a separated bowl, cream butter. Add sugar and cream well. Stir in egg, cream or milk, and vanilla and mix well. Blend in the dry ingredients gradually. Chill if desired. Roll out on floured surface 1/3 at a time to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut with favorite cookie cutters. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 400º for 5-8 minutes until delicate brown.
