1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus
1/2 c. walnut (or pecan) pieces
2 tbsp. butter
4 oz. goat cheese
salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Trim the fresh asparagus.
2. Melt the butter in medium size saute pan and add the asparagus and nuts. Saute until asparagus softens (2-3 minutes).
3. Place in serving dish and crumble goat cheese on top.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
