1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. crushed pineapple
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients like cookie dough. Drop dough the size of an egg on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes or until tops are lightly golden. Remove immediately from pan.
These are great filled with ice cream after they cool and then refreeze. They are still soft after ice cream is refrozen.
