1/3 c. crisco
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour milk
1/2 c. mincemeat
1/2 c. nutmeats
Directions:
Directions:
Beat, crisco, sugar and eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour milk. Add mincemeat. Add floured nuts. Bake at 375ºF for 25 minutes.
Orange Frosting
Combine 2 tbsp. butter, 2 c. powdered sugar, and 3 tbsp. orange juice. Add 1 tsp. grated orange rind, a few drops of food coloring, and 1/8 tsp. salt.
