1 C Roasted Green Chili canned or frozen - Hatch brand works well
1/2 onion chopped
2 gloves garlic finely chopped
1/2 C shredded or chopped meat if desired
Salt to taste
1/4 C cooking oil
2-4 T flour
4 C water

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté chili's, onion, salt and garlic in oil until soft. And enough flour to create a rue incorporating all of the oil. Stir continually until browned. Stir while added water gradually to prevent lumps. Add meat if desired. Simmer until desired consistency.
