1 c. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 c. Diced Apple
1/4 c. Melted Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Into a 9" square pan, sift first six ingredients. Break eggs into center, beat with a fork; add vanilla, then mix "ALL TOGETHER" with a fork. Add apples and melted butter, mix thoroughly, then pat the mixture level in the pan.
Bake in 350 deg oven for 45 minutes (cake should be brown and apples done). Cut inti squares and serve warm or cold. Delightful with ice cream or whipped topping.

This recipe has been in my book as long as I have been with Dave. It is originally from Cheney Orchards located in Sturbridge, MA. Easy and incredibly delish! And since you mix it in the same pan as you bake it, very little mess to clean.
