2 c flour
pinch of salt
1 c shortening
2 tbsp white sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 egg
1/2 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
jam - any flavor

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together like you would for tea biscuits. Roll out on floured surface and cut in to circles. Add a tsp of jam then fold over and pinch edges ( like perogy's )
Bake at 375 for about 15-20 mins.
when still warm sprinkle with icing sugar.
