Personal Notes:
Another of my favorites. No one could resist mom's rich pound cake. We kids were especially fond of picking off the top, crispy gooey crust. Now that I'm older I've shared this with many of my friends and family members with coffee or sometimes topped with strawberry topping and whipped cream. I still remember catching dad sneaking hunks of cake in the middle of the night. That's still a popular tradition in my own family today.
