Ingredients: 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup salted butter, softened 1 cup white sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 cups flour 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup white chocolate chips 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips

Directions:Preheat oven to 375º. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. In a double boiler melt unsweetened chocolate and first batch of chocolate chips. Stir frequently until creamy and smooth. Pour melted chocolate into a large bowl. Add butter and beat with a mixer at medium speed until thoroughly combined. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until well blended. Add flour and 3 types chocolate chips and mix a low speed until chips are distributed evenly throughout the dough. Roll a heaping tablespoon of dough into a ball about 1 1/2 inches diameter. Place dough on parchment paper lined pans 2 inches apart. Flatten into 1/2 inch thickness. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer to cool flat surface to cool. |

Notes: We got this recipe at or for Colleen Puscas' 50th birthday party. Colleen didn't have a cake but had a huge chocolate chip cookie tower. She had to climb a ladder to blow out the candles. Everyone brought some cookies to add to the tower. I can't remember if we brought these or got the recipe at the party. Denise would remember. She remembers everything.
