4-6 lamb shanks
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chicken or beef broth
3 tbsp. wine vinegar
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, brown shanks in butter. Transfer meat to a baking dish and arrange in a single layer.
Combine broth, vinegar, and onion. Mix well and pour over shanks.
Season with salt and pepper. Cover pan.
Bake in 350º oven for 2- 21/2 hours or until meat is tender.
