2 cups raisins
1 cup water
1 cup vegetable oil
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups flour
1 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
granulated sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place the raisins and water to cover into saucepan and boil until water is gone
Set aside to cool
Beat together the sugar,oil and eggs
Add the vanilla and cooled raisins
Combine flour, salt and soda
Add the the raisin mixture
The batter will be stiff
Form into balls
Place sugar into a shallow dish
Roll the ball into the sugar
Place on ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart
Bake for 15 minutes
