2 1/4 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp. each dried marjoram, rosemary and rubbed sage
1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
2 T. dried chives

Directions:
Directions:
In a pan, bring broth, butter and salt to a boil. Add herbs; set aside. Prepare dressing and turkey. 3/4 c. basting sauce can be used for liquid in dressing. Stuff turkey with dressing. Place turkey in roasting pan. Baste with remaining basting sauce. Bake turkey at 325º 5 to 5 1/2 hours for 16 to 18 lb. turkey, basting every 30 min.
