1 ib. ground round
2 medium Kula onions minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c. shoyu
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 block regular tofu
1/2 c. green onions chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Pan fry ground round with kula onions and garlic. Drain excess fat and add shoyu and sugar. Cook until mixture reduces and set aside. Slice tofu into one-half inch slabs (from the top) and place in the bottom of a casserole dish. Place some ground- round mixture on top of tofu. Arrange another slice of tofu over ground round, and continue to alternate between ground round and tofu. Finish with tofu on top. Place casserole in oven, uncovered. Bake at 275º for about 35 minutes or until the teriyaki mixture is somewhat absorbed by the tofu. Garnish with green onions and swerve with hot steamed rice.
