1/2 c. roasted, salted macadamia nuts
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. whole milk (or fat-free half-and-half or condensed chicken broth)
3 c. lightly packed fresh basil leaves, rinsed and drained
6 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
salt to taste (optional)

Directions:

Place nuts, oil, lemon juice and milk in food processor and blend until nuts are coarsely ground. Add basil and parmesan cheese and whirl until mixture is fairly smooth, scraping container sides as needed. Add salt to taste.
