7 lbs Cucumbers
1 Cup Lime
1 Gallon Water
1 Cup Vinegar
1 bottle red food coloring
2 Tablespoons Alum
2 cups Vinegar
2 cups water
8 cups sugar
8 sticks cinnamon
1 pkg red hot cinnamon candy

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and seed cucumbers. Cut into 1/4" rings. Cover and soak in lime water (mix lime and 1 gal. water) 24 hours. Drain and wash and soak in ice water for 3 hours. Mix food coloring, Alum, and 1 cup of Vinegar with enough water to cover cucumbers and simmer for 2 hours, then pour off.

Mix last 5 ingredients together and bring to boil. Pour over cucumbers and let stand overnight. Remove cucumbers and place in jars. Boil same mixture and pour over cucumbers, seal jars
